Pharmaceutical & General Provident Society (PG) is a Mutual Friendly Society established in 1928, specialising in protecting the incomes of healthcare professionals if they are unable to work due to sickness or an accident.

Our Income Protection Plan provides a replacement income to a member when they suffer an injury or illness that prevents them from working. It gives a benefit should they fall ill and is also designed to build up a fund on their behalf which pays out on retirement.

It could help replace lost earnings, with the valuable option of cover starting from the first day of incapacity. Alternatively, members can select from a range of deferral periods between one week and six months to ‘wrap around’ any existing income protection they may have, and they can cover up to 70% of their gross earnings.
